2012 Reflection

2012 HAS BEEN A GREAT YEAR!! This year was my first year as being a intermediate student. It was hard, but fun at the same time. Me and my mates had a blast this year in everything, sports, in class, in extension, everywhere really. We had our ups and downs but we still had fun.

I had lots of HIGHLIGHTS like in sport. Our open weight year 7 and 8 team went all the way to the semi finals and sadly lost. We won our eastern zone tournament for rugby, and for sevens. We had lots of good forward's a back's this year. IT WAS GREAT

Another thing that was cool for me this year was in extension. We did lots of cool things this year like entering movie making competitions and we did lots of awesome activities inside extension. Like pictionary, charades, and lots of other cool and fun stuff, I HAD A BLAST IN EXTENSION!!

Last but not least, MY FRIENDS! I made lots of new friends this year in year 8. And this year I bonded really well with girls. My favorite thing to do with all my friends this year was to play handball together. There was no cheating or anything that caused beef, and thats what made it great. Sadly some of my close year 8 friends are leaving to there colleges next year.

This year has been awesome. and I can't wait for 2013.

My Friend Description

This person is very coo, to be around with. He has the best personality and nobody knows this but he can dance. He is really funny and he is the best dougie dancer I'VE EVER MET. Once again he is really funny and he can be around anyone, no matter who it is.

Kingston is very good to work with because he can do things properly and on time. He is never getting in trouble and he is always smiling. He has moved to Australia to live and I probably won't see him again.

The Bush Narrative

The sun was so hot that it was burning my skin. “Why did I have to wear black?” I asked myself. One thing I did know is that it was actually a good day for a hike. So I told the crew and we started packing for what was going to be a good day.

Off we went to a random forest. It was our first time doing this so we didn’t know what was safe and what wasn’t. “ Yo man haven’t you been hearing what was going on around this forest” My mate Tyga said to me, “Yeah” following the rest of the gang. Our enemies come to this forest. “Who” I said, “You know, Kanye West, B.I.G Sean, 2 Chainz, and all of them”. “Trust me, no one will come to the forest on the exact same day as us” I said.

So far, it had been a great day walking with the gang, then suddenly, “Well, well, well, well”. We were looking around for to looke who said that. When we looked back in the front it was our enemies. The G.O.O.D Music gang. They had always beat us in lots of things. We didn’t want to cause anything because we knew what was going to happen, A FIGHT. “YOu suck” Tyga said to them. That made them really mad because they knew and we knew that they were the best.

They all put on angry faces and suddenly, all the bodies from there gang formed and made one big massive man that was bigger than the tallest man in the world. We were so scared. My hands were shaking, my heart was pounding and we didn't know what to do. “What did you say” a big low voice said to us. “Nothing” We said. “You said that we sucked, so your going to pay”. What was going to happen, what this the last day of our lives, or was it the last day of their lives. What were we supposed to do.

One by one they started eating all of my people, and they were all gone. I was the last one standing. Once again I thought to myself what was I going to do. Finally I thought of something. They really hated the music that we made so luckily I bought my iPhone 5 and I played one of our songs. Slowly they started to come down to the ground and out came my crew again (Lucky they ate them in whole).

We all became a normal person again and they were really sad of what was going on between us and them, so they wanted to stop. “You know what?, I want to end this right here right now” they said. “Yeah, me too” said the rest of us. “So what, are we calling it, are we all friends now” Kanye West said. “Okay, lets do that” I said. And we all lived happily ever after.

Charles Fredrick Goldie

This painting that I have re produced is called Hori Pokai, Sleep Tis a Gentle Thing by Charles Frederick Goldie. This painting was created in 1933. Hori Pokai was a Warrior Chieftain of the Ngatimaru Tribe. The reason I picked this painting is because I love sleeping in. Not just that, but I think that Goldie put a lot of effort into the detail of the wrinkles and the shading is very cool. I hope you like my piece of artwork.

I have enjoyed
drawing and finding out about Charles Frederick Goldie, but the best thing that will come out of this is it will be shown in a art gallery from Tuesday to Thursday and starts at 7 pm and on Friday it will finish at 3pm. I have loved drawing this and finding out about my artist and this painting.

STARMAP!!

The year 7/8 extension class of Pt. England School got the task of making a Starmap of a insperational person. The original meaning of star map is how people travelled on boats from one place to another, but in this case it helps you to achieve what you want to from going to one star to another star. I did  a Starmap on a famous pacific islander called Albert Wendt. This task was really good for us not only because it showed us how they got to be famous, but it also told us to stay in school so that we can get there our self's. This is my movie that I made on Albert Wendt and I hope you enjoy it.

My conclusion to his story is, you can be anything thing you want as long as you a determined to do it.

The Barn Narrative

“Ohh why did you drag me out here I was having such a great nap” I said to my step cousin Crusader. “We needed to get out of the house and do something fun” Crusader replied. So we did. I really didn’t want to go ‘BUT’ my other friend here Crusader was really excited about it. “Man, what's up with the weather today” Darius Said. The trees were swaying from side to side, there were grey clouds, dull skies, I was starting to think that it was a pretty dumb idea to come out here.

The mud under my feet leaving footprints like the CSI investigation program which I watched last night. Unfortunately I fell asleep through the program. I asked Crusader “That looks like a scary house like the house on slender man.” We should totally check it out” Crusader said excitedly “why can’t we just go home and play on the Ps3” I whined. “ You need to get some energy into you” Crusader advised.

As we were approaching the barn, blood marks were all over the barn. “Hmm must of been the slaughter house” I said Nervously. All the animals had red eyes and sharp teeth but luckily they were fenced in. “I wonder where the farmer went?” “Hey is that him the?” Darius asked. Sheep gathered around this body of an old man with a white beard just lying there.

We slowly crept over towards the body and saw the sheep digging into the old man’s gut eating the flesh off. It was so horrible I started to gag so much that I thought I was going to spew on my mate next to me.wanted to spew on my mate next to me. Step by step, the animals walked towards us and we were so scared. So Crusader and I ran all the way back home.

We feel really bad because right now, at this moment, all the animals in the world are taking over the world and we are all dying. The End.

The Day Everything Dissapeared

Rain was pouring from the sky as if I turned on the shower. It hasn’t been like this in years. All I could see was rain pouring on the skytower (we live at a house where it had a perfect view of the skytower). Rumours have been going around that on a day like this, something really bad is going to happen. It was called ‘CRUSADER DAY’. It wouldn’t of been today that something bad was going to happen. ‘POOF’. “What was that” I said as I quickly turned my head around.

My little brother Starford just fell on the ground. He started crying as if his eyes were clouds. “Where did the couch go” I said. ‘POOF’. “Did you hear that Starford” I said (there was no point talking to him). I heard it from two stories up in our house. The glass shaking as I was rushing to the elevator with Starford. “I gotta go find out what that is” I thought to myself. I ran as fast as I could to go to my room. Nothing was in there. My 6 iPads were gone, my 3 ps4’s were gone, my 10 iPhone 5’s were gone, everything was gone. My eyes were wide open, “CRUSADER DAY” I thought to myself.

‘POOF’ I heard it again. Mum and dads car parked outside, I quickly went to rush over and to the window and check and, the sky tower was gone. As I went downstairs to turn on the news, mum and dad walked in with the shopping, and it just disappeared. “The sky tower, statue of liberty everything has gone missing” The news man said. ‘POOF’, “MUM I CANT BREATH” I said to my mum struggling. The air disappeared. What were we going to do? We went to NASA to get some air tanks and as soon as we breathed in those air tanks, the sky tower came back. I knew how to solve this problem.

As quickly as I could I ran floated to the news station to tell everyone to go to NASA and get air tanks. “One breath of one person can bring back one thing, so hurry up”. ‘AAAHHHHH’ it sounded like everyone was choking and saying ahh at the same time. Everything came back and all we needed was a person to breath in so we could get air back, but everyone had already breathed in. I turned around and saw my little brother Starford with a really really purple face. I quickly grabbed a air tank for him, and everyone just dropped from the ground.

I was the hero of that day, because I saved everyone. That was an adventurous day, but it was also the most craziest day of my life, and I don’t ever want that to happen again.

Beach Narrative

The sun was burning my skin as if it was cooking me, sweat was dripping down my head, my ice cream was melting, and there was only one way to fix this, ‘A BEACH DAY!!’ I like to hear the sound of the waves crashing together on a hot day.

Before long sports balls were flying everywhere, and I was running up and down the sand.

Word was going around town that there was a monster called BEACHSTER that only killed people at the beach, and it JUST happened that we were at the beach. His real name was Louis Tomlinson. We had a boundary and everything, we all had to keep safe. None of us didn’t want anyone to go missing.

‘STOMP STOMP STOMP’ The ground was shaking, buildings were crashing to the ground, and it was coming. THE BEACHSTER WAS COMING TO OUR BEACH! “Lets go lets go, get everything you can and put it in the truck” My uncle Zayn said to everyone. “Grab all the kids” My brother Harry said. I was sacking it so badly. There was no way out.

One thing that we didn’t know is that there was an enemy of the BEACHSTER called the MAGICAL STRONGEST MAN IN THE WORLD, CRUSADER DUGAN!! And he always got close to killing the beachster. And this time he was confident that he was going to kill him because he found his weakness. His weakness was beach water. Thats why he always killed the people at the beach “Saltwater, his weakness is salt water” Crusader Dugan said. So we all got buckets of water from the beach and we threw it at him like there was no tomorrow. Every time a bucket of water that got thrown at him, He would drop, and drop, and drop.

Finally we killed the BEACHSTER and all this green gooey stuff was all over the the ground. “You finally killed him Crusader Dugan” I said, “No I didn’t, WE killed him”

Social Yr 7/8 2012

On Thursday the 13th of September 2012, the year 7 and 8’s had a CRAZY night at our social. We did lots of fun stuff like dougie contests, cat daddy contests, conga lines, and many more fun stuff.

It was so fun when I came because when I came, they just started the cat daddy contest. I joined in once and I could hear everyone cheering for me? But then our two prefects botsed it (came out of the blues). I had to admit that they were pretty good. One of them had to win and it was our prefect named Samson.

I was so hungry and when the year 7 boys got called up to get their sausage sizzle and drink, I rushed up to our tuck shop to receive it. “HMMMMM, THIS IS SOOOO BEAUTIFUL”, I said to my friend Darius. I had one dollar left to buy me another I you know what a did next. I LOVED THE FOOD!! “Time to dance again” I said.

When the music played I knew it was time to throw my moves on the dancefloor. Azonto, Gangnam Style, Dougie, you name and I did it. I had so much fun dancing. The best part was dancing with all the girls. I asked all the girls if they wanted to dance with me. Guess what they all said? “YES”. It was finally time to leave. I had a great time and everyone took one more photo together and off we went. “Later Kingston, later Darius, later Starford” I said to everyone. I didn’t really want to go home. I wanted to do the all nighters, but unfortunately, we had school the next day.

I had a ‘GREAT’ time at our social and lots of fun. I CAN NOT WAIT FOR NEXT YEARS ONE!!

Mini Olympics

“Man look at my jumper, it’s so wet,” my friend said to me as we finally got to the hall for our Mini Olympics. The Mini Olympics is when the classes from Team 4 and Team 5 get together and do lots of cool sports, which is kind of like the Olympics. This is so the teachers can go around our school to check out how our other teachers from the lower grade teach. Unfortunately we couldn’t do as much of the stuff we got to do because it was raining that day.

As we walked to the hall, the rain was pouring down as if we were having a shower. It was so wet that day and I really wanted to go home and have a proper shower. I didn’t want to get wet because I would've got the flu and I wanted to play lots.

We did lots of fun activities, like singstar, obstacle course, and many more fun things. My favourite was the obstacle course. It was fun because I liked all the obstacles that we did like jumping over things and going under things, kicking a soccer ball and getting a soccer goal in. It was fun.

I had lots of fun and I really want to do a olympic day.

Neil Armstron

Sadly on the 25th of August, Neil Armstrong an American hero died from complications from heart surgery. He was a great American hero because of what he did. He was the first man to step on the moon. Everyone in the world tuned in to watch him and his space - rocket land on the moon.

Neil Armstrong’s greatest achievements was obviously his landing on the moon. “One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind”, proclaimed Neil Armstrong as he stepped out onto the Moon. History was made in 1969. He was the commander of Apollo 11. When people said that he was a hero, he tried to avoid the limelight because he didn’t like being famous.

Smoking is Bad

Smoking is bad for you and it can cause major health issues. It can give you lung cancer and you can have a higher chance of dying at a young age. It could block your arteries causing heart diseases. Getting a part of your body amputated is the worse thing that could happen to you.

Cigarettes can affect what you look like. If you keep on smoking then people will think you are older than what you are. It can give you lots and lots of wrinkles. You could get lots of cosmetic issues like yellowed teeth, and really really smelly breath.

People spend from 14 to 15 dollars on a pack of smokes and if they buy a pack a day every week then that is $105 a week. That is a lot of money to spend on just smokes. People think that they just want to smoke every now and then, but once you start the nicotine gets you addicted. That makes you smoke more and then you will lose more money.

If smoking is so bad, why do people start? Well for one reason, they think they're cool. They are pressured and influenced by their friends to smoke. Another reason is that people around might be smoking like family members.

The hardest thing that I could think of in the world is to stop smoking, so don’t ever start!

Animators Work Shop

Last week on Thursday, the extension group got a chance to see some special animators. There were two men that were animators from Bro Town  and there names were Ali, Maka, the last guy Nills was a man from Auckland that paid them to come and teach us about animations. We were so lucky for having these guys come over and have the time to teach us more about cartoons and animations. We got taught lots of stuff such as the first animations, zoetropes, and many more cool stuff.

We were lucky to see one of the first animations made in the world. It went from, Gertie the Dinosaur, Mickey Mouse, Scooby Doo and Brotown. We played a cool game where a picture from the programme was blacked out and we had to guess what the picture was and we guessed all of them.

Zoetropes were one of the first things that were used to see moving animations. You put in the zoetrope 12 frames of pictures that change to make a moving object. After that you spin the zoetrope and you will see the picture moving.

I had a great time in that first session, and I can't wait for the next one.
This is the movie that I made about the work shop:

Cross Country 2012

“Man I’m nervous for today”, I said to my friend Samuela. I really didn’t want to do cross country but there was no excuse not to do it. My house is TAINUI. After a while I found a technique that might help me to do better than before, and that was to stick at one pace and a steady jog.

“12 YEARS OLD BOYS, GET READY FOR CROSS COUNTRY” Mr. Jacobson said to us. I started to get nervous as I was walking up with my mates. 'BANG' and we were off. I was thinking to myself “Steady jog, steady jog”. I wanted to run together with my mates because I wanted some company.

As I was running the treacherous track, all I could hear was a squelching noise from my shoes, and when I looked back down on my leg, I could see splattered mud on my leg which splattered back. The track was kind of tricky to maneuver. I was slipping and sliding as if I was on ice.

I loved cross country this year and I had fun with my mates. Can’t wait for next year.

Valerie Adams Silver Medal 2012

On Tuesday the 7th of August 2012 at 6 am, Valerie Adams competed in the Olympics to try and defend her title of the women’s shot-put. Unfortunately she got silver because another thrower from Belarus named Nadzeya Ostapchuk threw 21.36. That score was over Valerie’s personal best. In her interview you could tell that she was visibly upset about her results. She got a medal, but it wasn’t the colour she was hoping to get.

Precious McKenzie

Mckenzie the weightlifter was hungry to win the gold medal. “The gold is mine, the gold is mine” he was thinking to himself. Focusing very hard to get what he wanted, he succeeded with determination.

Joshua Iosefo "Brown Brother"

Joshua Iosefo, a prefect a Mt. Roskill Grammar, wrote an motivational speech called “Brown Brother”. The first time he performed it was at his school. When he did his speech, his mate Rashad made a video and put it on youtube which then got the attention of Campbell Live. After that,  he got the opportunity to perform it on live t.v.

This speech had a message to it, and it was telling the brown people especially to stop limiting yourself by listening to the stereotypes because they are not true. Some messages in his speech relate to some of the messages that we have at our school here such as, Strive to succeed, Champions never Give Up and much more.

My response to this speech is that, brown people like me can do anything you want as long as you have determination in what you do. It doesn’t have to be a sportstar or a music person but you can be anything else like a lawyer or even the next Prime Minister.

KIWI KICK!!

“Brgghh”. The skies were grey and the wind was blowing into my face. My body began to shiver. It was hard for me to listen to Sam and Anita with all the whistling from the wind and my teeth chattering. Goosebumps started to crawl up my arms and I was freezing like I was in a fridge. One of the first skills we learned was called drop punt. “WOHOO!!” I hit a perfect shot to my foot and the ball rocketed straight to my partner. He caught and did the exact same thing to me. There was a few things that I knew I needed work on and when I did, I could boot it down town any time.

Do you know what a hand pass is? Well in the second week we learned how to do one. I punched the ball with my fist and after that I started to feel pain but I still carried on and eventually I got the hang of it. As we were doing hand passes we moved on to hand passing while running. “Yeah I got it now” I said in joy.

We finally learned the ruck. Me and my friends knew this was going to be fun because it involved leaping up into the sky. My mate forced the ball up into the air and we bounced into the air challenging to get that ball. “That’s mine” I was thinking. I just got the ball over to our side and I won. It was very exciting and I wanted another go.

This is very fun and it is good that we get to learn a new sport. I can’t wait till the next session of KIWI KICK!!

Pablo Picasso and Henri Matisse

In room 20, we got the task of comparing the two artist paintings, Pablo Picasso’s A Weeping Woman, and Henri Matisse Woman With a hat. The style that Picasso used was cubism, and Henri Matisse was a pioneer of Fauvism (The Wild Beast). Pablo Picasso was born in October 25 1881 and Henri Matisse was born on December 31 1869. Both artist started of by using the impressionist style and then they both ended up changing. We are learning to compare and contrast these two paintings.

Both paintings look the same but they both mean different things. A Weeping Woman is a intense mood and it is about war which connects to his other painting called the Guernica. In Matisse’s painting, he was just trying out the new style of Fauvism and just experimenting with new colours. Matisse painting has no strong emotion and it was expressionless.

These artist both used shades of yellow in these paintings. In Matisse he uses a little bit more colour than Picasso. Matisse used weird colours in his painting but Picasso went from yellow to orange to red and then to green. They were more intense colours. They also used different colours to shade in. Like I said Matisse was just experimenting with new colours to try out a new style.

The lines that PIcasso used were bold and smooth, he also used black lines for his outline. Matisse on the other hand used different colours for his outline, and that people thought that it was weird. Matisse had jagged and delineated lines. As you would known Picasso, he used a lot of different perspectives in his paintings, but Matisse only used one perspective. But in Matisse painting he used different colours which made it look cool.

These painters are very different but they are great and will always be remembered.

AMAZING RACE!!

This is where the picture came from ttp://ak.cdn.sptidigital.com/sites/asia.axn/files/images/large_custom/img_1228132674.jpg

Sprinting like a cheetah I was off top start the AMAZING RACE!! One of activities was a Amazing Race and there were three main parts of the race that we had to do. IT WAS FUN!!

The first part of the race was a slingshot challenge. We had to make a slingshot with a piece of rubber, some string, and a piece of wood. Our group was struggling to make the slingshot and it was wasting our time. When we finally made it we, it was even HARDER to get points. That was our worst challenge, we got hardly any points but we did get close to the 100 point target.

The second activity was for our groups to make a hobo stove. It was so cool and all the items that we needed to make one was everywhere around Glen Innes. So we all split to get these items. The fire starter was at the YMCA pools (which is where I went), the egg to cook was at the bakery, The wood and the tin to cook the egg ON was at the Pt. England Reserve and the matches were at the school office. It took a lot of time to start the fire and we eventually got there. We shared the egg around our group and it was beautiful.

The 3rd and final activity was to spell the word RESPECT, but only using our body’s. It was a great and creative challenge to do, but it was also hard. At first we had trouble trying to do the R of respect, but when we FINALLY got it we spelt out the whole word. We then had to upload it to the computers and put them in Keynote. After we did that we had to put them in the correct order to spell Respect and then rush to the finish line. Our group was VICTORIOUS and we were all so happy.

This activity was great and I can’t wait to do it at the next year ⅞ camp.

SHOW NOT TELL!! (Hydro-Slide)

This is where the picture came fromhttp://www.taupodebretts.co.nz/sites/default/files/dragon-hydroslide.jpg

Sliding rapidly, zooming in the swirling water, I was twisting and turning down the dark tunnel. The swirling water, propelled me into the pitch black hole. I was going towards a bit of light and knew that it was going to end. SPLASH!! and I was out.

Ben Carson A.K.A Gifted Hands

Benjamen Carson was born in Detroit Michigan. His mother Sonya dropped out of school when she was in her 3rd grade and got married at 13. At only 8 years old, Ben’s mother and father were divorced and Sonya was left to raise both her boys at once. She had to go to 2-3 jobs a day to provide for her boys, but she was hardly ever home with the Ben and his older brother.

Ben and his brother were both far far behind in school. In the 5th grade, Ben was at the bottom of the class and people were calling him a dummy. It developed a violent uncontrollable temper. Their mother noticed that both her boys were failing in classes, so she was determined to change their lives around. She limited their television watching and didn’t let them outside untill they finished their homework. She got them to get two library books out and got them to read it. To prove that they have actually read the book, they had to write a summary for the books that they read. But Ben and his brother knew that with her poor education, she couldn’t read it.

One day, Ben’s science teacher walked in with a rock and asked the class, “Does anyone know what this rock is?”. Ben was waiting for some of his classmates to put their hands up, but no, no one did, so Ben slightly raised his hand and everyone stared at him waiting for the answer. “I think that’s a obsidian rock”. “Yes that is correct Ben”. He had remembered it from one of the books that he read and from that moment on, Ben realised that he wasn’t so stupid at all. He started to amase his classmates with his knowledge and in 1 year, he went from the bottom of the class, to the top ofthe class. He was determined to be a physician. But their was one problem, he had to find a way to control his violent temper.

What am I?

Today in extension, the group got to play a game called who am I. The game is played when you get a sticker on your fore head with anything on it. You then had to guess what was on your fore head. This game is very fun but also very hard. I took for ages to find out what I was. In this game, on our foreheads were careers and jobs. Unfortunatly, as you can see, on my forehead said that I was a fashion designer.

To get to be a fashion designer, you need to be able to have good taste in cloths and obvieously in fashion too. You also need to be able to be a good drawer and a awesome sketcher aswell, to sketch your designs on a paper to give to your designers. You could make alot of money out of this job, that's why loui vuitton and gucci get lot of money because their designers a great and what they have is great aswell.

SYMBOLS THAT REPRESENT ME!!

Hi, my name is Crusader and I have drawn these four symbols that represent me and my hobbies. The first symbol, represents where I come from.  Obviously I come from Samoa. I love my ethnicity because of all the great things that you could do in this country, and all the great wonders in it like the beautiful holes and we also have the best food. This second symbol that I drew was of me listening to music. I love to listen to music any chance that I get. On the radio, on youtube. I know lots of the latest songs. I love to go to church with my parents. If my parents dont go, then I have to go with my grand parents. I go to sunday school every Sunday morning as well. My last symbol, shows me and my family. I love my family to death and will do anything for them. I am in the middle and my family is around me. Those are the four symbols that represent me and if you want to leave a comment on flickr then click here. Thank you.

BE CYBER - SMART MY PEEPS

Too often these days, people post photos on face book with little thought of the consequences. WE WANT YOU...TO BE CYBER-SMART!!!

The reason why you should listen to me is because unfortunately, in the future, you might not get unemployed because of the negative footprints that you have left behind. Because of one photo that you have posted, people might think that you have a bad background and the job might not go to you.

Another reason why you shouldn’t post up photos of yourself is because other dodgy people might pick it up and try to connect with you (in a bad way). You might think that your settings are on private, but really it is not. From one press of a button, that photo will be exposed to the world. You might have to face some serious ramifications.

The last reason why you should listen to the man himself is because, when you talk about someone on face book dis respectfully, you are actually making them feel bad. The person that you are saying it to, might do some bad things to them selves because of what you said about them. If you can’t say it to their face, then don’t say it on face book or to anyone else.

So I urge you to listen to what I have been saying or else you will be facing some really bad consequences. THINK BEFORE YOU POST PEOPLE.

THINK BEFORE YOU POST!!

Hank took a photo of himself and flippantly posted it online. “No worries, my account settings are set on private so no one but my friends will see this” he thought. But really, because of one untrustworthy friend, it was shown to the whole world.

He was disregarding the dangers of what was happening around. Unbeknownst to him everyone saw the picture that he uploaded. Once he found out that people around the world saw his photo, he regreted it because he couldn’t delete the photo off Facebook. “What if my family sees” he said to himself.

Poem About Me

I am a millionare dreamer
One day, I will win the lotto with my lucky numbers

I am a League Star
Best forward in my grade

I am a son
I want to make my parents proud

I am a brother
Love to make my siblings laugh

I am 11
Turning twelve this year

I am a joker
Making people laugh is what i love to do

THE END

Day at the Beach

I was shivering in the buffeting wind. Wrapped up in my blanket, I watched the waves get bigger bigger. With teeth chattering I asked myself, “Why did we come out here on this windy day?”.
